If you would like proof of insurance, call or email us. We will request a certificate of insurance for you from our insurance company.

Hiring a company that is licensed to do tree work in the state of Maryland and insured to do tree work (especially workers compensation insurance) is a big differential that can explain major price differences in estimates. If you do not hire a company with the proper insurance, you are taking on a significant amount of personal risk. If an accident was to occur on your property and the company was not correctly insured, your homeowners insurance policy is responsible but may not cover the incident.

Yes .We sometimes will ask for pictures before sending someone to your property to provide an in person estimate.

 

We accept check, cash, or credit card. There is a 3.5% fee on the total amount charged to process credit cards payments. All credit card payments must be done online; we do not take credit card information over the phone.

Payment in full is due the day of service, and can be given to any of our crew members. Deposits are not required.

 

Miss Utility is a utility marking service that is required to be contacted before digging. Any stump removal company is required to contact prior to completing the service. This makes sure that the buried utilities on your property are protected. If your job requires stump grinding, we will contact miss utility.

 

Currently our region is home to an invasive beetle from Asia called the Emerald Ash Borer (EAB). It can quickly kill a mature Ash tree. At this point in time if your Ash tree has not been treated it likely already has EAB. Ash trees infested with EAB dry out quickly and become brittle and hazardous as they begin dropping branches and completely failing.

 

Most jobs do not require the customer to be home in order for us to complete them. Sometimes if the customer is very specific on pruning specifications we will ask that they are home to ensure the pruning meets these specifications.

 

Summer. The earlier you buy firewood, the sooner you can get it stacked and drying at your property. When waiting until fall to order firewood, you take the risk that it will not have enough time to dry or that we may no longer have any supply.

Our office is open Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm. The office is closed on Saturday and Sunday.

If you have an emergency after hours or on the weekends, you can call our office and leave a voicemail or send us an email. We try to monitor the phone and email especially during and after storms.
